Privacy Policy

This policy explains what GOOSEBUREAU (“we”) collects at goosebureau.com, why, and the choices you have. Questions? Write to support@goosebureau.com.

What we collect

• Registering your goose: the 4-digit code from your Thank You Card, your goose’s name, your name and the product. We use these to issue your goose’s registration number. The registration page does not ask for your email.
• Membership (optional): your email address and, if you choose, your name. If you join from the registration page, we also keep your registration number so we can link your membership to your goose and send its yearly Hatch Day note.
• Messages you send us: whatever you include when you email our support desk.
• Basic technical data: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs. This site does not currently use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

How we use it

• To register your goose and show you its registration number.
• If you join the membership: to email you occasionally about new arrivals, community news, member perks, outfit contests on our Facebook page and website, and once a year on your goose’s Hatch Day (including the digital Hatch Day gift we are building).
• To answer your questions and keep the site secure.

Membership is free and optional, and no membership benefit depends on leaving a review anywhere.

Your Amazon order

We do not receive your Amazon order details and we do not ask for your order number.

Sharing

We do not sell your information. We use service providers (website hosting, our database and email delivery) that process it only on our behalf, and we may disclose information if the law requires it.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe: email support@goosebureau.com with the subject “Unsubscribe” and we will remove you promptly.
• Access, correction or deletion: email us and tell us what you would like. We will respond as required by applicable law, including for California residents.

Security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information and keep it only as long as it is needed for the purposes above or required by law.

Who this site is for

This site is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13.
